2020-2021 Fall Update

The trails are on public land that is open to hunting. The most active seasons along the trails are deer and turkey. Gun season for deer starts November 6, 2021 and ends January 2. 2022

​

Even though visibility is quite good in the woods, it is suggested that as a safety precaution, hikers should hike in groups and wear fluorescent orange or bright colors while using the trail during hunting seasons. The bright colors should be visible from front and back.
