About the event
Bryan Hall, executive director of the Tellico Reservoir Development Agency (TRDA), will be the featured speaker. His presentation, “Tellico Reservoir Development Agency: A Legacy of Progress and a Future of Opportunity,” will explore the history of development around Tellico Lake and the opportunities ahead as the region continues to grow.
For WATeR, the conversation comes at an important time. The organization is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, marking a quarter-century of volunteer efforts focused on protecting the Tellico Reservoir and its watershed. “Tellico Lake is at the center of a growing and changing community,” said WATeR President David Flanagan. “Growth brings opportunity, but it also makes responsible stewardship of the watershed increasingly important.”
The annual meeting will include an update on WATeR’s work during the past year, including water-quality initiatives, lakeshore stewardship, community partnerships and efforts to protect the watershed.
